Tamale Metropolitan Assembly (TMA) Bans Sex Work In The Metropolis

Prostitution  is on the rise in Ghana  especially  in the nation's  capital,Accra and many of this young  ladies  are found  in  this  business  of trading  their bodies  for money.

Tamale  is not an exception . It's often  common to see women  on the streets  of  metropolis placing  themselves  at vantage  points  of the city to attract  those  who may  require  their  services.

MAKE MONEY THROUGH FACEBOOK. EASILY

Mayor  of the  Metropolis, Mr Iddrisu  Musah in a recent  press conference  held on Monday, October 9th gave  sex  workers a 21 days ultimatum to stop operating or face  the law. He has called  on hotel  owners  and landlords  to stop using their places as reserves for this acts. He said:

"Our Constitution  does not allow these act, therefore the assembly  will not allow such acts here "
Despite  the fact that our  Constitution  doesn't  allow  those  people  in it, our religious  beliefs  too  disregard  it especially  in communities  where  Muslims are found.

We think this is a great  time to get the law to work so we are calling  on all and sundry  to join in the fight against  smoking,prostitution and other indecent  behaviors in Tamale and Ghana  as a whole.
